Fantabalicious not just a word; yet some people would just say not a word.

Living in the United States, I am all to used to being able to make up words, and hearing others do the same.  And not just as a joke or for fun, or just on the street with the kids.  Oh no we see it on the news, in politics and more.

I never have had a problem creating words to use.  This word combines fabulous, fantastic, absolutely, and delicious; at least for me it does.  I was asked to choose a word, one word, that could hold my goal.  I struggled and struggled and could not find one.  I mean be serious I am woman, one word; and I am an Aquarius, one word.  Really?  How is that going to work exactly?  That is as silly as choose your favorite color!  Well okay today? or for a scarf or for a kitchen or what exactly? And know it will probably change.

I like my choice because everyone that hears it smiles, and they know right away that it is a good word, one filled with emotions and that it tastes yummy when you say it.  The word wraps its arms around you and says feel that?  Part of bringing together the mind and body and emotions when you focus on a goal is what helps you achieve the goals.  Knowing how it will feel, how it will taste when you have achieved it.

I am really big on getting clear in your mind on what it is you want, then setting the goal intention to achieve it.  Then working all of the steps until you have success, or (and I think this is a key part) realize that the original picture was not what you really wanted.   It may have been too narrow, it may have been too wide and it may have been “what it was supposed to look like according to” someone else in your life.

I think you have to spend time really visualizing a goal, knowing your place in it, and knowing your place in the steps leading up to the final and successful conclusion of it.  But you also need to have the action steps, and take the actions.   You have to do more than just close your eyes and believe.

I love the telling of the “secret” step that is missing.  The one where you can sit on your couch all day, and wish that all of your bills are paid, think it and see it; but the repo team will come and take even the couch.

One of the tools I really like is to choose your goal, that is out there in the future waiting for you;  and then work backwards to where you are now.  Some people find that contradictory to how they think, because they focus on the moving forward.  But I have found that when you see all of the steps from the goal back, you get more clarity.  Because you are thinking about what you will have already at that point, or have achieved, and not just on the “steps you have to take”.

So what does my big goal for the year look like, feel like and sound like?  Fantabalicious of course!!
