Week two of the New Year often is where folks start tripping up. One because they made resolutions last week, out of season; and two because they think it's the same energy each year. It's not.
January is still the time of the winter season to be contemplating, and taking stock, but no it doesn't always start with a moon in Capricorn. Can you see how that is what flavored last weeks activities, but won't be the flavor of the first week of January 2023?
So let's come back to 2022, and the second week of January, and what is the energy line that runs through this week as we are taking stock? Last week it was tangible stuff we can hold and count. The end of this week we will see Mercury go retrograde. That means that Sunday - Weds are the days you want to be implementing any changes. Remember it's best to not start things that need signatures, or that we don't want to revisit, during Mercury retrograde.
Where are you emotionally? What things in the past year have really made you happy? Or angry? Where was your joy? Over the holidays how did you feel? Did you feel included, loved, alone, sad, blessed?
There is no judgement in this inner work. This is instead a taking stock, in the same way we decided if the soup cans were past their date or not. Are there relationships you want to invest more into? Are there some that you have done all the investing in, and it may be time to reevaluate how much energy you will expend?
As you review, where will you reinvest, what keeps coming up and how do you see it being resolved? Looking past last year, what themes have come up and around to break you, to make you, to bring you joy? What lessons have you finally learned (or are ready to learn) so that you can move forward this year with more of the good stuff? "re" is key.
Identifying those places that you are ready to realign with your soul, for your highest good.
