"I exist in rhythm with the sky. Let my movement keep me known to the greater harmony." Dance is a wonderful way to open up your energies, and listen to your own body and even emotions. It does not have to be about remembering a routine, or a certain choreography, or listening to a person shout directions at you. Instead, dance can be the way you flow, and a reminder that the steps you danced today were only ever meant for this moment. In the same way that the steps you danced last time were for that moment, that day, that point in time. And yes, everyone can dance - because it's just moving. And you can chair dance too. In fact you know this is true from singing and rocking out in your vehicle, or watching someone else do it! We will be talking a lot more about dancing back, and how it's both wellness and spiritual, but also a remembering of where we all come from and our ancestors. Because healing isn’t linear—it spirals through body, memory and movement.
