 We will have a new moon in Pisces at 4:45 PM PST (California time) on Thursday, the 27th.
New moons are a good time to plant seeds for what we want to grow and harvest. If you know where Pisces is in your birth chart you can add an extra layer by planting the seeds with matters that pertain to that house. But if you don't know, that's okay, instead use it for the Pisces things in your life that you want to see level out and get brighter. A few examples of that would be how you can improve your communications. Better at writing the words, or speaking them, or instead listening and considering other points of view. Or maybe you are ready to change how you communicate by listening to nature, the animals, or the wind; maybe your guides and inner voice, angels or aliens. There's also some Venus in the mix this time, so instead (or also) focus on what you are passionate about. For many that is learning to be open to hearing who and what they are passionate about, not what they have been told to pursue, or what they feel is a should or stuck place. 2025 is a good year to stop trying to bring back a better time and instead look at how we create an ideal future. This moon would be around pursuits of passion, communication, and creative pursuits.

 January 29th is the start of the Chinese New Year, and this year it is the year of the wood snake.
It's also the Aquarius New Moon, and that means it's time to use our energy, our visioning, our clarity on planting some new seeds for what we want to see happen. Normally we are looking out 6 months to the corresponding full moon, and yes we still are today but we are also looking at the year ahead. This is the new moon to have good clarity on what does the ideal future look like to you. Not how can we make it better, or that one time was pretty good; but instead the look at what would ideal look like, for me, my family, community, the world. Help plant those seeds for what could ideal really be for each of us and all of us. How can you combine the energies of your intuition and transformation, that are matched well today with the wood snake energy? And then combine with that the Aquarian energy of everyone, ideals, and utopia. This is a great moon, if you have good clarity, clear vision, for setting the path forward for positive change. |
Witch, was often the matriarch (still is in more places than you might realize) that knew the healing work. From birthing babies (or make sure you don't take those herbs, they can lead to a miscarriage) to tinctures, the preservation of the food, and the seasons. A wisdom keeper, whether it be cloud reading for the storm coming or the full moons that created more feelings. Here we reclaim the word, the wisdom, and apply it to today's world and schedule.
